I founded YYC Artistry in 2017 as a creative outlet — a place to bring all of my ideas, projects, and random creations to life. What started with my love of spray-paint art quickly grew into bath bombs, jewelry, custom apparel, décor, personalized gifts, and whatever else I felt inspired to create.
Over the years, I’ve realized that my creativity doesn’t really fit into just one category — and honestly, I wouldn’t want it to.
YYC Artistry is now growing into an umbrella for the many creative things I love to do.
Photography has been part of my creative journey since 2011, when I started Rock It Photography. Over the years, I’ve built extensive experience in live music, event, sports, and editorial photography, including photographing multiple music festivals and Esso Minor Hockey Week, with work published in magazines and newspapers.
Rock It Photography will continue as my dedicated music and band photography brand, because that side of photography has its own identity, history, and place in my heart.
For everything else, I’m bringing my photography under the YYC Artistry umbrella with YYC Artistry Photo Co. — offering wedding, engagement, family, maternity, portrait, pet, sports, automotive, property, event, and lifestyle photography, along with all of life's little and big moments in between.
My love of event and party planning has always been there. I’ve naturally found myself helping friends and family bring their events together, with a particular eye for the little details that make an event feel special.
After having my daughter, Kaya, that passion really blossomed. Since then, I’ve planned and coordinated everything from birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, and gender reveals, taking on everything from the initial ideas and planning to décor, details, logistics, and execution.
And, of course, I still love making things!
Custom and personalized apparel, décor, gifts, artwork, and new creations will always have a place within YYC Artistry. I love learning new techniques, trying new ideas, and seeing what I can create next.
Rather than limiting YYC Artistry to one product or one service, I’m embracing what it has always been at its heart:
a place to create.
Whether that means capturing a special moment through photography, planning an unforgettable event, creating the perfect personalized gift, designing décor, or bringing a completely new idea to life — if I can dream it up, I want to create it.
